About Me:
The Chickipedia

I’ve won awards. I’ve delivered serious impact. But you should never hire a creative partner based on credentials alone. What if they’re an asshole? I’m not an asshole. Find out more about what makes me tick below.

I’m happy to share my resume with you. But this is way more fun.

Why you'll love working with me:

Most importantly, I’m a rare bird — an exceptional copywriter and voice actor who’s also an expert in healthcare and technology marketing.

What’s the deal with all the chicks?

In my first ad agency jobs, I was frequently the only female writer on the team. The “chick writer.”

Then I went and sang in a bunch of bands, and all drummers like to tell “chick singer” jokes.

I decided to embrace it all and — voila! Chick Creative.

The Coop is my office and studio. Have a look around.

Outside
My commute is roughly 120 feet so I like to have a cheery welcome when I get to work.
Lounge
The staff lounge is mostly the domain of Emmie, staff intern and 10-year-old yorkie.
Studio Corner
My cozy studio is a fully professional recording space with proven quality sound.
Sparkles
A friend once described me as a “disco cowgirl” and it stuck.
Big Tex
Local pipe cleaner artist Montrel Beverley created this awesome Big Tex figure.
Magic Mirror
I scored this at Top Drawer, a vintage store benefiting folks living with HIV.

Doing my part to keep Austin weird — and make it more equitable.

Austin’s creative and technology sectors are severely lacking in meaningful diversity. At the same time, a lot of Austin’s culture and success is owed to the talent and hard work of people of color.

E4Youth.org exists to “Engage, Empower, Educate and Employ” young talent of color and ensure that they are “Seen, Heard and HIRED.” I’m proud to support E4 Youth financially and as a volunteer, and I encourage you to look into the great work they do.
Here are two other worthy organizations I support financially as much as I can.

SAGE Studio & Gallery is a non-profit art space in east Austin that provides artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities the materials, space and support to produce, exhibit and sell their artwork. My Big Tex sculpture by

came from this wonderful place. Well worth a visit during shows and open studio time.

Founded and run by women from the Austin music biz, HOME seeks to honor and support the artists who’ve given their lives to the heartbeat of our community — including the incomparable Miss Lavelle White. If you’ve ever loved an Austin band, donating to HOME is a wonderful way to say thank you.
